  • Jost Chemical Co. was founded in 1985 by Jerry L. Jost. Previously, Jerry had worked as a chemical engineer for several companies in various engineering and manufacturing roles.

    Like most start-up companies, Jost Chemical Co. underwent difficult times during the first few years. The company's ability to overcome initial obstacles and to achieve its current success can be attributed, in part, to Jerry's early decision to employ retired chemical industry experts. Their experience and knowledge have been and continue to be invaluable to the growth of the company. Also, Jerry never wavered from his commitment to excellence and to producing the highest purity products that meet customer requirements.
